GAME talkalike

"Talkalike" is a discussion game for young people and adults.

How well do we know our partners and friends?

The game is about having exciting discussions on socially critical topics. Each round, a new contradicting question is drawn. Questions like "Do we need compulsory education for politicians?" or "Is there good patriotism?" There are different topics so "Are plants emotional?" or "Should a visit to the slaughterhouse be compulsory for schoolchildren?" is more socially inclined.

The surprisingly heated discussions about mutual assessments and how contradictory they can be are particularly interesting. Thus, not only communication and rhetoric can be practiced in the game, but also feedback and interaction. There is also a single-player version in which the teams change with each round.

THE GAME

There is always a pro and a con team. The speaking time is limited in time and thus gives additional pressure from outside. After the speaking time of the two teams has expired, the round is over. Now the fun really begins. First, each team assesses its own argumentation ability and persuasiveness. Then the other team's. Now, these are compared. The closer, the more points! And oh so astonishing how some people see themselves. The winner is the one who assesses himself and the others most accurately.
